Today, Beacon Hills High School prepares to welcome a new student! Several new students, in fact; a whole class of them. As summer gives way to fall, so too does freedom give way to restriction. Get in your seats, everyone.
Then use it she does.
When she's done, she decides to go exploring. With her camera, obviously.
!!!
Juliet explores the dark room, she will stay here until school starts if she's left unattended.
No one interrupts her.
She hears movement outside eventually. The janitor, pushing a cart down the hallway.
Juliet finishes off what she can and then packs up her stuff. She leaves the In Use sign on and exits the room, attempting casual.
The art teacher, setting up for the day ahead, seems to object to this, but stares in shock rather than articulating any specific complaints.
"I- you should ask for permission next time, but students can use any rooms we have, that's what they're for."
"Okay. I can do that. Thank you." She shuffles to the door. "I gotta get to homeroom."
Arrive to homeroom she does.
The teacher calls attendance, and the students recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and then they move on.
Juliet does so happily. Afterwards does she find anyone to be happy at?
Erica catches her on her way out.
"Hey. You haven't been in school. What happened?"
"Hey! Uh. I screwed up and my dad got upset. I was grounded." She smiles at her. "Did I miss anything exciting?"
"Not really. Jackson Whittemore had a breakdown in the cafeteria, but not much else."
"Something about his parents," she says vaguely.
They arrive in science class.
Juliet sits next to Erica. "That's sad. I probably shouldn't ask him about it though?"
"I don't know. He's never seemed like the sensitive type. I didn't even know you guys talked."
