There is a certain bookstore just one street out of the way of the path between school and Terence's house. In that bookstore a certain corner has a large pile of unceremoniously stacked books labelled '25¢ each'. Terence is digging through them for science fiction. Most of it is self-improvement books, or recipe guides, or trashy romance novels. The few sci-fi pieces he finds will probably be really crappy science fiction, but he still has to try.
"Uh, probably not that specifically. You've said 'adorable' a lot. And that grin you have is, warm. I wanna kiss it. But not in a public park."
"Well you're in general adorable, I wanna scoop you up and hug you and kiss you a lot, and probably do lots of other things, especially when you say those things you like to say. Why'd you blush now, though?"
"...I was imagining ways that your own magic wasn't as thorough. This led to imagining other things."
Was the goal of that question to make him stammer and blush more? Because if so, it succeeded.
It would be inaccurate to say Terry blushed again. He continued to blush. "...The same as yesterday with more places for hands and less clothes, is what I specifically imagined to trigger that blush."
"Rrreeeeeally? And is that something you'd be interested in trying in the near future? I was kinda taking it slow because I didn't know much about how you felt about it, but..."
The mega-blush is finally receding. "Well. Imagination is not reality. And everything- Probably not yet. Buuuut I see no good reason to stay at just-kissing for long."
"I would imagine! And now I really want to kiss you some more. Want to find our friend the concealing woods, or one of our houses, or what?"
"Well, my mother's home, but I don't think she'd do anything other than raise her eyebrow knowingly at me if I absconded with you to my bedroom."
"I suppose you shall. Cerberus! Do you want to go back to my house, come with and sleep, what?"
"Yeah, probably." He hops to his feet and gives Sadde a quick one-armed hug. "And if we don't get too distracted we can nerd out over magic more too."
"I find that goes better if you don't try to force it. But... I would totally be in Ravenclaw. I liked electronics and programming before magic happened. My favorite color is black. Bilbo Baggins is bad at planning and it's kinda sad that the space shuttle program keeps getting funding cuts."
"I fluctuate between Slytherin and Ravenclaw," he says. "I would probably like electronics and programming if I had enough money to have frequent access to both. I don't have a favorite color, and not a whole lot of opinions on what Bilbo Baggins is or isn't, but tend to agree with you on the space shuttle program thing."
"...I think I want to try to teach you programming. It's not that hard really."
