Maitimo tosses Findekáno the key.

His hands are kind of trembley but he gets it after a little while.

Cor squeezes Findekáno's hand, once, then heads for the door.

Maitimo does not stop him.

Out he goes, looking for Ranary.

Guards stop him at the palace doors. "You're supposed to stay here, sorry."

"Oh, why's that?"

"Security concerns."

"Oh?"

"Is there anything I can get you?"

"I'm looking for Ranary."

"I'll pass the message on if I get a chance."

"I want to see her in person immediately. I don't think she's ten miles away. Perhaps you could let her know right now."

"I can't do that. Security reasons."

"What security reasons prevent you from osanwëing my friend asking her to meet me?"

"Our orders are to not startle you, try to avoid needing to confront you, not let you out of the palace, not let you talk to Thuringwethil or any mages or anyone who seems to intensely upset you, and prevent you from doing magic. If you need something we can't help you with you can take it up with the King."
