...Maitimo steps neatly around the table and picks Cor right up and kisses him. "Do you think you're very clever?"

"Yes I do. Also lucky, mostly clever."

"So clever." If he holds Cor like this he can nibble on the back of his neck.

"Mmmm~"

So so clever. He nudges the door open with his foot and carries Cor out.

Squirmy laughter. "Where are we going?"

"Gosh. If that were a complaining sound I could drop you off at your rooms but it didn't sound like one and so I was headed for mine."

"I'm not complaining."

NIbble nibble he does not change directions.

Eeeeeeee.

His rooms are terribly spacious. He drops Cor on the bed. "You're brilliant," he says, "and I find you thoroughly addictive and I am on so many levels so glad you landed on us."

"Addictive? Should I be limiting your dose?"

"That sounds like a terrible idea." They are both wearing too many clothes. "How would you even do it? Let me win at Governor sometimes? Say unambitious things if I'm staring too longingly?"

"- that tickles -" Squirm. "What are things unambitious people say, I can't even come up with any."

"I have saved enough worlds and after this one I will retire to the coast!" Unclothing. "I don't want power, it sounds frightening to have so many peoples' lives affected by my decisions!"

Cor shrugs off his gifted Elfy robe thing. "I helped eat a planet, I can't be trusted with anything more complicated than a fishtank!"

Maitimo laughs delightedly and pins him to the bed and shakes his hair loose. "It's very important not to second-guess other people who are older and wiser and say we shouldn't do anything differently!"

"Says the older possibly wiser person who seems inclined to tell me to keep doing exactly what I'm already doing."

"I might be biased." Kiss kiss kiss.

Well there's all this unbraided hair, Cor had better make sure it's still soft.
