Decontaminated Amenta meets the Noldor in friendship and would appreciate it tremendously if they'd decontaminate their red princess in which case she and the rest of them are of course very welcome to decontaminated Amenta.

"It sounds really unpleasant even streamlined honestly."

"Yeah, fuck 'em."

"I mean, if we want to interact with them unrestricted... but..."

"Fuck 'em," he says more firmly. "There's nothing wrong with you, Peka, there never ever was."

So decontaminated Amenta will not have relations with Elves but they do arrange an expedition to go visit Other Amenta. He is kind of buried in months of neglected work but manages to get it all straight in time to come along. They land in Anitam, which is pleased to meet them and charmingly regretful it didn't already have them.

He writes Avalor. Introduces himself as one of Anitam's ruling council and their representative to Other Amenta. He knew his her and she died and he was terribly happy to hear this one was healthy and well.

And here is Governor Avalor! "...this is an interesting wrinkle," she says, peering at him.

"I was awfully confused to meet him. All three of them, actually, there's one from a magic Stone Age civilization having a war with a magic god, there's one who is yet another species from a narrowly preindustrial world full of some species with sub-replacement birth rates. And the one you met. Aitim Neli. We don't know why the names resemble each other."

"And the faces. Is it just superficial?"

"It's not. Maitimo seems to be who I would be if I'd grown up an Elf prince in paradise - I don't think it improves me, but I'm sure he'd disagree -"

"He left a rather trying impression."

"They don't understand. Even with their own self explaining it to them - my society settled long ago on a procedure to decontaminate reds, we asked if they'd have their princess do it, they responded so impolitely that if I hadn't understood Elves by then I would have been trying to arrange to send the children to our summer place -"

"Decontaminate them? That's - interesting. We no longer have any about ourselves but if they weren't so averse to the idea it would make trading with them easier."

"No matter how inconvenient the aliens the - series of events they averted were very much best averted - you had Orvara try cycling the work, right, I think that started before they'd have arrived -"

"Yes, they did."

"Well, it went well, and they directly or indirectly killed off the rest of them and implemented it everywhere. Which had the rest of the world's reds awfully tense, of course, and when the next place tried it - Biyan - they rioted, burned down an entire blue district, died by the thousands, and then all refused to train their replacements. Biyan took all their children hostage, said they wouldn't kill them if the reds did their jobs and wouldn't torture them if the reds did them well. 

Red broke into where they were keeping the child hostages, shot them all and herself, they committed suicide en masse and Biyan had no reds and no replacements -"

"And you'd think that would inspire everyone else to conservativism but no, Evalee and Cene started purple training programs, and the Evalee reds got guns and killed all the training purples and some responsible blues -
