"I'm coming up on three thousand local years. It's not that I want to miss one but it's - like being in the hospital two weeks, to you -"

"I said that I could not hear people being rude to me, and perhaps it was because they'd resurrected me funny. This was terribly unfair - Father oversaw the project personally and they resurrected me just fine -"

"I thought it was a Vala who does that?"

"Yeah but he's all personality-adjustment-happy so we figured we'd do it ourselves."

"Can you make bodies for our dead, do you think?"

"Uh. Depends what the deal is there but - maybe?"

"Yes, wouldn't get them out of Mandos. But it'd help people who die from here forwards and maybe we could separately work out how to steal them from Mandos - uh, after you lot have gone home, we don't want to anger the Valar now -"

"Can't bring Beka back to life anyway the same thing'll happen -"

"We would also need high-end lab equipment to get anywhere on the bodies. It'd have to wait until we can get home."

"Includes stuff we can't just conjure up?"

"I would have to ask my father but I don't think you can conjure up even, say, a computer, right? And the means to grow a body from scratch are way more complicated than that - can you in fact just conjure a body, that'd be simpler -"
