Milliways: the bar at the end of the universe. It's a bit crowded today, with a group of brightly-colored lizard people taking up several of the tables in the main bar and a more usual assortment of patrons scattered densely around the rest of the room - well, except for by the fireplace, where one patron is being given a somewhat conspicuous amount of space - perhaps it's the intimidating all-black outfit, or the way she's muttering to herself as she reads from the book she's holding, or the almost feral way she looks up when anyone in her field of view moves too quickly, but no one seems to want to get especially close to her.
The droid and the Sith are, for the moment, too distracted to notice.
After perhaps fifteen minutes, they're done; the Sith doesn't scan the room, but looks right to Felix.
Fenris follows, he does so by floating a few inches above the ground.
"Uh, hi again. This is my brother Fenris. According to him, we can essentially retain access to other worlds even if leave Milliways, do you prefer to retain access to yours?"
It helps, when he lands, but she's still keyed up, watching him carefully; she doesn't seem to notice the question.
That seems to be more confusing than anything else, but she does calm down once he's gone.
"Do you want to be able to go home again, Ma'am?"
"...maybe. Effects?"
"We would use a bit of pocket dimension to connect the two worlds. We would be able to control transit between the two worlds. Eventually we would like to fix your world's problems."
She gives him an assessing look. "Complicated. And - chance of trouble, for you. Sith're sneaky."
"We guessed that. We are in no hurry about it, but we can just not do it if you so prefer."
Nod.
"Should- DZ, books?"
"...perhaps you'd like an overview, first, sir? Of the problems you'd encounter in our world?"
"Fair enough. Also, where your door leads to and the dangers there?"
And so the droid launches into the requested overview.
Their world: is a mess. The issue with the droids is the tip of the iceberg; there are humans and other sentient species being enslaved, too, both outright and de facto on worlds where resources are scarce and powerful people can control them. The Sith and their empire are at war with the Jedi and their republic; being well back from the front lines and not particularly interested in the details of the situation, neither of them knows much about the Jedi side, but there is a rumor that they recruit their force-sensitives as newborns, which the Sith makes an expressively disgusted face at. The Sith side isn't even arguably better, though, unless one happens to be a Sith themselves; they're allowed to do just precisely what they can get away with, and their powers mean that they can get away with very nearly whatever they please, in a culture where cruelty is seen as a natural expression of power. And then to round things off, the droid gives a basic description of the Hutts, who aren't particularly violent but have few other redeeming characteristics and are even more inclined to slave ownership than the rest of the galaxy.
Well, fuck. This sounds like an excessively complicated problem, but one that they want to revisit later (likely much later), as opposed to one that they want to just give up.
