He smiles at her.

Mm. "And I like you a lot."

"I like you too."

Hug. "I know.

Tomorrow I can prepare four of the illusion spell."

"Cute," she giggles.

"You're really something," he says. "I know I've said that already."

"You have!"

He hugs her and kisses her forehead.

"Mmm. I think I want to go work on spell design," he says. "Have I done enough about your boredom for now?"

"Yeah. I feel much more motivated now."

Hug. "See you later, then," he says, and vanishes.

And she returns to her magic and cryptography with renewed interest.

The next day, it is a little while into the afternoon and she is standing in the center of her room when she says, "Serik."

He materializes a minute later.

"I have made more progress but I could use a break and I have an hour and eight minutes' worth of illusion spell."

"Mmmmmm. And what would you like to show me an hour and eight minutes' worth of?"

"I was thinking lava golems, possibly followed in a historically inaccurate manner with the enlarged mountain ogre."

"I like this plan." He hugs her.

She tugs him over to the bed.

Ooh.

He grins, and climbs into bed with her and snuggles up.

He holds her and pets her hair and watches.

She snuggles him and enjoys hairpets.

Illusory Elodea is so much less happy.

Illusory Elodea's suffering is intensely attractive.

This is definitely not something a mortal woman would survive.

It's even better than he imagined. She's wonderful. Pet pet pet mmmmmm.
