She should probably restock her ammo a little, but she can do that on the way... unless there's anything unique for sale?

There's a pretty wide variety of elemental ammo! Acid, shock, fire, frost, explosive... Plus there's some nicer weapons available than what she's already got - though it's all incredibly expensive. Still, might make a big difference. 

Oh no, her one weakness: not having enough money. Wellllll, then she'll get this nicer sling, she's happy with her bow for now and the ability to do more with bombs never hurt anyone. Except the targets of the bombs. Who deserve it.

The machines might not agree with her there. 

They should have considered that before deciding to be made of such valuable parts.

She laughs. Then: "You good to set out now?"

The area Aloy tracks rumors and then footprints to first is southwest of Meridian, in a region of dense (and oppressively hot) jungle full of animals as well as machines. A lot of machines, actually, not just the stalker she's on the trail of. 

Hm. Tricky. It's going to take some careful observation to figure out all their paths and find the perfect spot.

As long as she's careful, she can manage that. (...Though she can't, actually, see the Stalkers, just the signs of their passage.)

That's almost as good, right? Right.

Hmmmm maybe she should have gotten that tripcaster instead, set up a bunch of wires and use herself as bait. Well, an idea for next time. She'll make do with what she's got for now.

Well, hopefully she's got good reflexes! Because there's a crunch behind her a split second before the stealth field slowly flickers off the stalker actively leaping at her.
