The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
"Yes." Sigh. He pulls one out of his bag. "What were you going to pay it with?"
Flask. "This is called Polyjuice, this contains three servings. Most of them know what it is. If this one doesn't I will elaborate at that time."
"May I offer it your 'Polyjuice' even if you don't personally summon it?" the GCP guy asks.
"Yeah, all yours for determining-if-my-brother-is-being-impersonated problems."
And he finishes the circle and waits for a demon. "Used to be instant," he mutters.
Eventually he gets a demon.
"I have been informed by this young man that this substance," flask, "is three doses of Polyjuice. Will you accept it in exchange for the complete published works of his younger brother Minor in standard chip form?"
She looks at the Polyjuice. She looks at Aaron.
"I was going to summon you myself and offer but he snatched my circle because I won't do gags, if that helps -"
Eyeroll. "Yes summoner."
The GCP guy places the flask partway over the border of her circle and nudges it in carefully with his foot. She picks it up, and makes a chip.
He dismisses her.
The guy tucks it into his computer.
One of the dragon videos starts playing.
He will be patient. Learning that you have an afterlife and have been aggressively persecuting a teenager for no reason can be very overwhelming. He smirks at the wall.
"See, the problem at this point is that the more I believe you that your colleagues are competent the more I have to conclude that they're lying."
"- okay. If this ends with you mysteriously dead in the night or something what should I do."
