The Valar announce that they've done as much as they can in Singularity (they can't bring back peoples' babies in that critical period either, but they can get them earlier versions) and are setting up portals between there and Sanity as soon as they are confident they've cleaned up the plague. A bunch of Elf architects have this wild idea for a fivedimensional city where alternating intersections are interdimensional portals between various Valinors and they get eagerly to setting it up.
Cam pats his shoulder. "There there, your brother will fix it with the power of vlogging."
" - if anything that left me with thrice as many questions - Maitimë, can we keep him -"
"And trust me, I am applying it. I don't think we can keep him but I bet you can get all your questions answered."
"But where would you keep me? Hm, I could perch on a wall like a - hm, you probably don't have gargoyles, they're really not Elf aesthetic at all."
"Couldn't say. Do you prefer perching on walls to, like, attending concerts and so on, that changes the proposed itinerary."
"No, gargoyles just often are designed with bat wings, I don't really wish to otherwise imitate one."
"I confess no expertise at all in wings. Why doesn't everyone have them, if it's that easy?"
"Wings work on humans but humans find flying very tiring in a way I can't find things tiring unless I feel like it that day, and they also have to go with different designs because they're not indestructible and they could tear. These are thinner than bat wings." Flap.
"They have not been tested on Elves and you have weird biology, I'd want a consult on that. In the meantime enjoy this catalogue of designs." Toss.
"What's the worst thing that can happen if it doesn't work, I die?" She starts scanning it and asking vocabulary words.
"Worse, I'd feel bad about myself and dishonor my teachers of medicine!"
"Timothy's a human? You're a human? Are the beings depicted in Green Eggs and Ham human?"
"Timothy is a human. I used to be a human; now I'm a demon. The beings depicted in Green Eggs and Ham are fictitious cartoon sapients without species names as far as I know invented by Dr. Seuss. Who was not a real doctor; that's a pen name."
