"Yep." Then she looks down for a moment. "Hm. Do I feel like explaining anything about our shapeshifting or the reason behind it to Jorem? No, no I do not."

And before they get in view of the guards, she shifts.

And Sable's back. "Abrupt, Hailey. Not that I object to more time with Sin in any way, but still, abrupt."

She shakes her head and smiles warmly at Sin. "Well, shall we?"

"Let's!" She smiles brightly.

She loops an arm through Sin's and they head back into town, and into the inn.

On the bounty board is a new posting:

Fifty crowns to kill a corrupted brown bear in the hills east of town. (Min level 8-10)

Sable snatches it off the board as she passes and heads directly to Jorem.

Nice, an easy twenty-five crowns for each of them.

She follows Sable towards Jorem at the counter, still a little blushy at being on Sable's arm.

"Hello, Jorem. We've got proof, this time. Horns and a paw. Where would you like them?"

"Just a moment, lass."

He bends down behind the counter and pulls out a rough woolen blanket, which he spreads out atop the bar.

"Right here. Keeps the bar cleaner."

Then she'll deposit fifteen pairs of horns and a bear paw atop the blanket.

"Goodness, lass. The two of you took down that bear? Well done."

He sweeps the proof away into a bin, then counts sixty gold coins onto the counter.

And they each get a notice that they've completed two quests and have reached level six.

She has gotten a good grade in questing, a thing both reasonable to want and possible to achieve!

She smiles at Sable and leans against her a little. "It took both of us, and was close even then."

He nods. "Aye, hard fights tend to need that. Well done, lasses."

Sable divvies up the coins, passes Sin's to her, and then smiles at Jorem. "How about celebratory lunch?"

"I've got a roast on, boar and vegetables. That do ye, lass?"

"Sounds good to me!"

"Anything t'drink?"

"No, thank you."

"None for me either."

"I'll bring your plates out in a mo' then."

And Sable gives Jorem a nod and leads the way to a table.

"So," Hyacinth says. "More nodes! More unlocks! Things are already getting pretty fun, I have to say."
