He can lead Magini outside in search of new rooms to show her.

"It definitely seems like you guys get access to lots of cool stuff! I'm still thinking about it - I turn 18 pretty soon, so I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble of joining now..."

She giggles. "I would like to see other rooms, yes! Though I have had a lot of fun in your lab and look forward to doing more tinkering there!"

Bye lab! she waves to it as she leaves.

"There's the Protectorate too - they work at the rig and get a bigger budget usually, it's nice."

"Oh this is a gym! It's fine i guess but sometimes they clear it out and use it as a location for testing equipment and I get to fire my device at things when it's safe to try them indoors. I like that use better. Oh there's Shadow Stalker letsmoveontosomewhereelse."

"The rig seems really cool! I'm definitely considering the Protectorate."

She lets herself be hurried, and smiles. "Not a fan of hers?"

"No I'm not supposed to bad mouth my teammates but she's terrible."

Magini cocks her head and makes a "go on?" gesture with her hands hair, apparently

"She's just sort of scary and really aggressive and please don't not join the Protectorate over her she's not that bad."

"Don't worry, I wouldn't let one bad egg keep me from something that's a good fit!" 

What's next on the tour?

The comms room! It looks sort of like the recording booth of a small indie radio station.

"We each take turns at comms to get experience with coordination and support, it's usually boring and sometimes stressful but not that bad. You are not allowed to tinker while doing it."

Thanks! I wanted to ask - what do you like about this room? This is the first time I've felt you be interested in something like this. 

This is a center for - communication, coordination, common cause being made understood and then executed on. These things are - special, to me.

Not in a way that it ever would have shared with another host, before. But - it has new goals, now. It needs to be the type of thing that Magini can befriend. And for that, it needs to have - legible opinions about the world. So it is trying this out.
