What they can do with it: a fuckton of things! But it's complicated, and Temperance does the theory but not much of the practice because it is literally impossible to be a generalist and perform spacetime magic. It can create portals—that they've done. It can, theoretically, teleport. It can pinch and stretch space and make perceptions weird. It can do strictly more than either space or time magic can.

In regards to your ability to change, we would like to - with your consent - analyze it so we can understand how it works. Ideally we would be able to generalize it such that we could replicate in a number of ways, not only to allow sex change, but also shapeshifting between specific forms, which could have many applications.

Yes. We couldn't have predicted the mindflayers. I don't know a good way to patch that problem besides increasing our mental capabilities, but that isn't an immediate solution.

It depends how much increasing we are talking about. Just because something might require omniscience it doesn't mean I won't strive to do better.
