I also heard that they were very surprised when the people augmented for niceness turned against them and stopped their extinction level event. It's surprising that they managed to even get to the point of acquiring a space station.

"Why were they surprised, it's obvious people designed for niceness would not support genocide."

My best guess is that their cult didn't optimize for questioning things through. Which, unsurprising, given cult.

Nope. Lord thinks that one or two of the original leaders were probably in it to get money and power from easily manipulated people, but then they died and the true wackos were the only ones left. Depressing isn't it?

I have no idea what they would make of us existing and of this situation happening.
