"I would say you can write me when you figured it out but I don't have a local address or the means to acquire one. Want to suggest a time I should come back?"

"...if you decide to take us up on it, yeah."

At midnight Katin becomes indestructible.

Also the inside of Peka's tent is distinctly larger than the outside. And a very pleasant temperature.

Michael bops around inviting people in danger of infanticide to go live in Federation London. Macalaurë has gone ahead and leased apartments for all of them with some of Elendil's money.

People in danger of infanticide have widely varied reactions to this. The original purple couple will go though.

And once they've traded their money for Federation money the life savings of a random purple family can get wired to Peka's family.

At approximately the same time alien starships become noticeable to Amentans.

Amentans are so excited! All of the countries want to talk to aliens. Mostly about faster than light travel and terraforming.

Aliens can talk about that! Aliens will send everybody a welcome team that can talk about that and other things. 

Macalaurë leads the team visiting Tapa.

Peka's tent has a comfortable pillow and a note on the pillow that says the money was not transferred mistakenly.

Tapa is one of the countries that manages to be relatively circumspect and diplomatic about their intense desire to get off this rock. They send Amentans with blue and yellow and green hair to greet aliens.

All the diplomatic in the world will not make him like Tapa much because they kill babies and mistreat his girlfriend and start stupid wars and have a stupid caste system. 

But he's a very good actor.

The Elves step out of their shuttle and greet the blue and yellow and green-haired people. "Thank you for coming here to meet us! What a lovely country," he says very sincerely. 

An Elf shoots him a strange glance.

"Thank you! We've wanted to meet aliens for such a long time it's amazing to be here when it really happens. What brings you to Amenta?"
