They find a site for secret Silmaril work in a hidden cave system on the southern continent with a Maia of the cave system who has no opinions on their presence there but has an opinion that Melkor's presence there would be unwelcome. ("Not clear how much she can do about it, but...")

Miranda packs, including two strands of the supply of hair, Karen's substitution instructions, and the other, not so scarce ingredients for the birth control potion.
