"They're extremely fast and heal rapidly by draining the life from their thralls. They can cast curses and make lesser vampires. Tanya will be necessary to slow it down, if there really is a vampire and we're not just scared over something else. They tend to make plans for tragedy that are far more subtle than usual, like passing bad laws, bringing corruption into organizations, and even starting wars."

"Eesh. Uh, how do they make lesser vampires?"

"They turn some of their blood thralls into them. I think it usually kills them instead, so they don't do it very much because that's more suspicious than people who are just a little woozy and act funny sometimes."

"But they could maybe get a few in a hurry if they have a lot of blood thralls?"

"It takes a few weeks..."

"Okay, that's good. Anything else up with them? If they've already made lesser vampires what's their deal?"

"Lesser vampires aren't really as magic. They're still fast and dangerous, but even non-psychics can shut them out with effort."

"Okay. So we're looking at - physical fight only as long as I'm in the picture, civilians in danger, unknown number of vampires. Mm?"

"If you can keep up the shield on everyone. Civilians might even be made to attack you, but they're not that much of a threat, even the military ones, if we watch out for it."

"Magical girls are bulletproof or something?"

"Not unless you have really high vitality or a barrier charm. Psychic girls can make telekinetic barriers with practice, sometimes... And thralls can usually see through the veil. It's just that Miss Tanya is very good at dealing with guns, maybe because she has one."

"Ooh, telekinesis. How much practice? Will civilians be able to come into the overworld, like with vampire help, or does taking the fight there solve that?"

"Maybe the blood thralls will be able to... We don't know how many there are, or if there even really is a vampire yet, though. We'll find out as much as we can first, chu!"

"What's the - intel gathering strategy there?"

"Invisible puchuus since we're good at tracking bad magic, and maybe Miss Tanya looking at things while time is stopped."

Nod nod. "I am hoping to meet Gravity Maven and Titanium Steel, would it be a good idea to do that before I activate?"

"I don't see any particular reason to. Or any reason not to either."

"Can Charlie, like, see you, to - explain, since I'm going to tell him anyway?"
