"I was thinking I'd just copy Madam Ollivander's price point? If it comes up a lot I'll ask Aaron for advice, I guess, but in the meantime customization's trading off against quality and reputation and I dunno how to price any of those things so I might as well round off to 'it's a wand they cost yea much'."

"I'm not sure. I mean, trying to compete with Ollivander sounds unpleasant. I guess there might be an owl order niche abroad or something?"

"Sounds good. Any more thoughts on what we discussed last year -"

"Um... I didn't even fill out Aaron's form, seemed like it would've... I don't know what else you'd need to know."

"I don't think I need anything. Aaron sent a copy of his form home. It, ah, really gets to the heart of something, though I wouldn't necessarily say that thing is 'what people look for in a marriage'. Even if they're looking for unconventional things."

"It's definitely something."

"Are you interested in going out sometime?"

"Me."

"You were seen crying over Jocosa Smith. - that isn't a no I just don't understand."

" - I felt really badly about that. I thought I could do it - potions, or something - and then I couldn't and so I arranged for my father to be difficult -"

"Oh. Um, well, okay."

"You're welcome to think about it awhile."

"Potions thing isn't happening, right, because if it is I am going to plead with Miranda for one of her braids."

"I have no intentions of going ahead with the potions thing."

"Okay. - Uh, if you're gonna want kids -"

"We'd have to figure something out, but it can wait five, seven years without people thinking much of it."

"Do you have some clever Timothyish explanation for belatedly, um, noticing I exist, or anything."

"Not especially. You were still a kid when I was in school, it shouldn't be tremendously suspect that we weren't close then..."
