Addressing a group is worse on her arts stamina but she's not exactly doing heavy lifting with it. Excuse me.

They jump.  "Excuse you," one of them says, irritated.

For reasons we do not need to debate at this time I have the state of knowledge of a person from another universe and don't know how to use a capsule hotel, can one of you help me?

"Can you stop hacking my hearing aids?"

I don't know what a hearing aid is.

A second one speaks up, hand at something on his hip.  "It aids your hearing."

I guess that stands to reason but you can't hear me, because I'm not speaking? I don't speak the language so I'm using telepathy.

"...Sure.  Ahuh.  Cut it out anyway."  He considers something.  "It's aggro."

The third member of their party is putting her eye up to one of the kiosks, then pressing a finger on a pad next to it.  It spits out a ticket for her.

...sure. She'll leave that person out of the conversation. Can either of you two help me?

"He said stop," says the hearing aids one.  "I don't want to have to escalate anything.  I really don't want to."

The one who already has a ticket is standing by one set of the weird maybe-a-doors impatiently.  The second guy's hand is still at his hip, up under his jacket a little.

I'm leaving him out of the loop now.

"For us too!!"

Gods but people on this plane are dicks. She doesn't respond, since they don't want her to talk to them.

"Thank you."

"...You want help checking in?"

"I don't speak the language and after being so thoroughly rebuffed would not think it polite to even read for what you're saying," she says in Pax.

They keep talking to her anyway!  ...And gesture her over to watch the next of them go through the process, when that doesn't accomplish anything?

She will watch from a generous distance but sure doesn't understand the significance of any of these steps.

Well, when they're done they press one each of their fingers on a worn spot on the wall and the now-definitely-doors open for them.  (To a very small room.)  And then close.

She has, for example, no idea if the process has to be done in any specific order, or if it matters if you've been there before, or anything. She'll wait. Maybe if she waits here long enough someone who is at least as nice as the librarian will come in.

The next person who comes in looks jittery, fingers twitching along rhythmically but irregularly to something Bella can hear coming out of the device on their head.

They wave with one hand and keep plucking the air with the other.

Could you explain to me how to check in to the hotel? I've never used one before.

"I could... do you have anything for me?"

Any, uh, what?
