(This princess is too cute.)

So bed for tonight, then sightseeing at some of the guild houses after breakfast.

The jewelsmiths look interesting, and are supposedly one of the more powerful guilds...

Probably too expensive for a poor runaway to commission something for her girlfriend, but there's no harm in looking...

They are tourists...

So let's go touring.

The guildhall is just as grand as Numenor's main palace, albeit smaller and more practical in places. They seem to have arrived during a lull in activity, though.

Which makes their presence... unusual.

"Hello there."

"Good morning." Friendly smile!

"Are you one of the guild members?"

"I am." First among them, no less. "Taking a break from a project, at the moment. And contemplating if the murals need refreshing. Your eyes seem unlikely to be jaded. Tell me, what do you think of them?"

"They're beautiful, though..."

Nyarie has had a classical education, and she's obfuscating where she got it a little but she's still far, far better educated in art history and artistic techniques than even many nobles Celebrimbor has met.

A discussion with the knowledgeable is always a pleasure.

Nothing in this world lasts forever, regardless of artistic merit. And change can keep the mind alert.

She's not truly an artist herself, though change is wondrous - and she has some ideas here...

Very interesting ones. A... new perspective in these lands.

"We're traveling. This is the most beautiful city we've ever seen."

"Thank you. We've worked very hard to make it so."

"It shows."

"How long has the city existed?"

"Mm. We're coming up on five hundred years within the next few decades, if memory serves."

"Not long at all, then - you've worked hard."

"Not alone, it must be said. Our partnership with the dwarves of Khazad-dum has also been greatly beneficial."

"I've heard wondrous tales of their craftmanship."

"Not a word of it exaggerated, I am sure."

Smile. "Entirely understated, if they worked on this city."

"I will pass your compliments on to the masons."

"Thank you."

"So what brings you travelling to our very fair city?"
