The jewelsmiths look interesting, and are supposedly one of the more powerful guilds...

Probably too expensive for a poor runaway to commission something for her girlfriend, but there's no harm in looking...

They are tourists...

So let's go touring.

The guildhall is just as grand as Numenor's main palace, albeit smaller and more practical in places. They seem to have arrived during a lull in activity, though.

Which makes their presence... unusual.

"Hello there."

"Are you one of the guild members?"

"I am." First among them, no less. "Taking a break from a project, at the moment. And contemplating if the murals need refreshing. Your eyes seem unlikely to be jaded. Tell me, what do you think of them?"

"They're beautiful, though..."

Nyarie has had a classical education, and she's obfuscating where she got it a little but she's still far, far better educated in art history and artistic techniques than even many nobles Celebrimbor has met.

A discussion with the knowledgeable is always a pleasure.

Nothing in this world lasts forever, regardless of artistic merit. And change can keep the mind alert.
