Nevermind how good it felt when Eva drank us

"Huh I just remembered that your bevin had chocolate fountains and now I'm wondering if it could grow solid chocolates as well...."

"It's only liquids, unfortunately. I don't think chocolate counts as a mineral. If you could get an actual cacao seed I guess that would work but it takes so much processing to turn into chocolate."

So saying, she snags a chocolate in the shape of a stellated dodecahedron and starts snapping off the spikes one at a time to eat them.

Cuteee, though she personally prefers to keep all the spikes on them, it feels nice as they dig into her mouth.

"Oh well, or hmm. Does it have to be liquid at room temperature? I could try tracking down and buying some of the chocolate liquid that's used to make custom shapes when put in moulds and cooled down, and we could just wait for a bit for it to solidify after pouring out of the taps?"

"I had some troubles with eggs, so I'm not sure. I could try though!"

"Okay! I'll try and get that then and not get my hopes too up. Any other things you think I should try grabbing for your garden as well while Earthside?"

"I'm not that great a gardener, actually, but it'd probably be good for my mental health if you could grab a protein or meal replacement shake or something like that? I keep worrying I'll run out of money for proper food. So far I'm getting by with automatic welfare payments on my phone but if I were to ever lose my phone or need to get a new one I'd probably be screwed for a while. Having guaranteed calorie-rich food that wasn't just eggs would be... good."

She's gonna hug her at that.

"... I'd also be a terrible gardener and would have been in a kinda similar situation with getting by on UBI payments but I at least don't have to worry about losing access to it if I lost my phone or anything. And I'll definitely make sure to grab you some protein shakes and stuff."

"Okay, cool! Also, if you have anything made of a precious metal I could really use some - I've got copper, a really bad sterling silver, and regular iron, and a bunch of semiprecious stones, but I couldn't afford any gold or proper silver. I didn't want to risk selling gold when I, uh, look like this. Seems like a good way to end up very doomed." 

"I don't think I have anything like that, but I could buy a bunch of precious metals and gems, give them to you to replicate in your garden and then sell them on my Earth and avoid ending up automatically doomed because of my appearance, and split the profits with you?"

"The other reason I haven't tried this is because I would rather people not ask questions about where I got all this gold and stuff from. Seems kind of questionable to just show up with a sack of Perfectly Legally Acquired Gemstones And Gold, you know?" 

"But if your world is easier to deal with on that then I think it's worth a try."

"I'm not sure how much easier or not it'd be to do in my world, I've never tried selling mysteriously acquired gold before, but I don't think I'd risk legal trouble from just trying to sell it, it might be better to stick to gemstones because that's something I could plausibly get away with claiming i just grew using mad science and cheap chemicals whereas it'd be harder to do so with pure metals?"

"Maybe, but synthetic gemstones are a lot less expensive I think." 

She hums. 

"Also I'm not sure how long it'll take for my bevin to produce any appreciable amount of gold. It could be a while; the silver spigot is kind of slowish already, and I think it's inverse to cost looking at the notes about other bevins I have in my library."

"Oh... That would make sense..."

"Yeah, awkward. I think good quality silver is less likely to be a problem in general?"

"Okay! I'll try purchasing and maybe selling some of that then?"

"Okay! It'll be less of an investment for less output, but that's probably wise." 

She nods along to that.

"Probably would be wise, yeah! And there's still lots of other fun we can have with phenomenal multiversal power even if we don't use it to get rich quick."

Like being consumed by Eva!

"For sure!"

"Okay, so probably you order a little, I don't know, silver wire or something? And a meal replacement drink? And then we can get back to our date?"
