"Eeeaaaarrrgggh.  Noooooooooooooo."

She laughs! "Eekoshi, eekoshi, no Tai Chi!"

"Eekoshi?"  Tim is attempting a semi-horizontal flop in a chair not designed for it.  And occasionally making quiet groaning noises.

"Okay," she translates. She leans up over the table, peering down at him, "Are you going to be okay?"

"No.  I shall expire shortly.  Think of me fondly, Sara.  Remember that I died a hero's death: protecting my partner from delicious Mexican food."  Little smirk out of the side of his mouth.

"I will make sure they etch it into your gravestone," she agrees, solemn. "Here lies Tim, killed by tiny tacos."

"Truly the most fearsome of foes.  I'm seeing angels, Sara..."

She rests her chin on her hands, "Better than seeing devils, I suppose?"

"I saw one of those earlier.  She was menacing me with a plastic straw, I was terrified."

"Oh no, I will have to keep an eye out for her, she sounds dangerous!"

"She seems attracted to lasagna and repelled by cilantro.  Maybe the vampire legends held some truth to them, after all."

"But surely the lasagna is garlic? Perhaps they had it backwards."

"Ohhh, that would make sense.  It's all coming together!  A plot by Big Vampire!"

She laughs properly, "Silly," she accuses him.

"Taunting a man on his deathbed...I see how it is.  I'll have to pull myself back from the grave so I can defend myself from these accusations."  Suiting actions to words, he pulls himself upright in his seat and doesn't even groan once!

"Such strength," she teases him. "Should I carry you again?"

"Hmm, I don't know.  You do have to save your strength for tomorrow."

"I don't know, if I get tired tomorrow you will just have to return the favour."

"Well, I suppose if you really want I could let you carry me.  It's the least you can do, really, after I saved you from that mini-taco."

"Mhm, it's only right that someone bear the body of the hero home."

"Well, in that case.  Let me pay these nice folks, and then you can carry me to my resting place."

She reaches over to poke him back into his chair, "I'll pay, you paid yesterday. I wouldn't want you to have to move around, anyway."

“I.  Guess that I can’t argue with that?”  He sounds like he should be arguing, but is manfully restraining himself.

"Nope!" And off she goes to pay the nice restaurant people!

Tim has enough sense to not wander off.  He does finalize the shopping order, to be delivered at 7 AM because lol esper money.  He's got an arrangement with a pretty significant number of local businesses, courtesy of Bill Moore, and if he wants groceries at 7 AM, he'll get them.

"All set?"
