"It's also a great distraction while I'm backlashed if my partner isn't available and my parents and ideally other people are.  I always make sure at least one of them is home just in case but sometimes they can't sit there the whole time.I can do a little recital to keep myself busy. Unless I'm very backlashed and then  I can't focus well enough unfortunately. I learned that during hell week."

(and so did the neighbours probably but she's not going to say that)

"Oh, neat, yeah! Playing music would be a good way to get an audience interested, wouldn't it..."

"Yeah, it's a good way to...channel it."

"Kinda sounds like it's pretty tough to deal with sometimes. I'm glad you've figured stuff out for it."

"Yeah, it's about keeping the compulsiveness pointed in directions that aren't going to get me into trouble."

Nod nod. "Stop me if I'm being too silly, but have you considered taking up juggling? Stuff like that?"

"I've done a bit of juggling, it's not hard to learn if you're an esper. I also took up parkour. Which is actually useful in dungeons sometimes, and is definitely cool and makes good videos."

"Oh I bet! Picked up any other fun hobbies?"

"Just that and the photography really. I've done a little photography outside of dungeons for practice."

"Do you have any shots you're really proud of? Can I see?"

"You want dungeon shots or other stuff? I've got some of both on my phone."

"I mean, both sound good!"

"Sure." she can pull up her 'Best of' reel. The dungeon shots are labeled with dates and the dungeon database number, others are labeled with dates and sometimes locations.

Most of the dungeon shots were originally taken with her in the frame though in some cases she cropped the selfie out afterwards. She's got good at angling the camera and using delayed photos to get decent shots of the background while still taking selfies. These include very large waterspouts with her visible for scale (one of the earliest photos on the reel), a shot taken from the top of an improbably large sand castle tower with a few other sand castle towers visible in the background and a shot of a victim being princess carried in front of one of the sand castle towers. ("Taken with permission of course.") and miscellaneous monster shots including of the bioluminescent nudibranches with one of their much larger cousins in the background. ("really I should get a proper underwater camera at some point, but the cover worked pretty okay here.")

The non-dungeon shots are more varied, from closeups of plants to landscape photos. There's a few selfies, mostly taken from the roofs of buildings during parkour practice..There's some from the Ontario Monster park including another of the bioluminescent nudibranches in their new home.

"Lot of selfies in here. I guess that makes sense. I like them! The journey of the glowy little guys..."

"Yeah I tend to be way more motivated to take selfies than other shots when in dungeons. The nudibanches are decently popular with guests I'm told."

"They're really pretty!"

"They are. Not that scientifically interesting but they do make a lovely exhibit. It would be nice if they were trainable to do light shows or something but I don't think they're any cleverer than normal nudibranches."
