Rodanthe greets Salacis with a kiss and Sidious with a polite - though distracted - smile and some light inquiries about Sidious's life since last they met. 

...Also she keeps sending odd looks at Sidious, even while exchanging pleasantries. 

"What is it?"

"Certain of your biometrics have changed since last we met. It is odd."

Hum. "How have they changed?"

"Hard to summarize for human senses, but..." Squint. "Are you pregnant?"

Sidious freezes.

"-Congratulations?"

She is going to not have a panic attack. 

(Salacis can feel her emotions pretty clearly. She's failing to hide them.)

"It seems unlikely," she says, voice clipped and a bit distant. 

"Ummm... Can you give us a minute?" she says to Rodanthe.

"...Yes." She stands and heads out. 

Hug?

Hug.

"I can't be pregnant."

"Rodanthe is. Um. Usually pretty good with her sensor stuff?"

Deep breath. 

She opens herself to the Force, looks at her own body through it, carefully, thoroughly - and the Dark Side turns into a galestorm around her as she screams. 

Salacis will just do her best to hang on and not get blown away.

She calms down, eventually. Very eventually. 

"I - don't know how I'm pregnant," she whispers, voice cracked and harsh.

"Not the usual way, I'm guessing."

"No. Not that I - remember."

"That's... not good."

"It's not."

"If Plagueis doesn't already know - he can't find out."

"You'll have to hide."

She curls in on herself. "I don't know - how to do that. I don't even know how long I've been pregnant, or if anything is wrong - I've never evaluated a pregnancy in the Force - or at all - "
