'I'll transfer the two of you to your own ship tomorrow evening. I have some lessons to go over with you tomorrow, though, and exercises I want you to keep up with.'

'Always some kind of work.'

'You'll thank me for it someday, brat.'

'I do enjoy being a brat, it's true.'

'See? I'm giving you opportunities.'

Mental giggles. 'I bow to your superior wisdom, master.'

'Good. I like seeing you on your knees.'

'You like seeing everyone on their knees.'

'There's one or two exceptions...'

Suprise and confusion! 'Bwuh?'

She feels very, very amused. 

'I believe it's your bedtime, Apprentice.'

'What no you can't just say that and then tell me to go to bed-'

'Sleep well!'

There's a feeling rather like a comm turning off in Salacis's head - the bond grows more distant, muffled as Sidious stops putting quite so much effort into reaching for her apprentice.

Booooo.

Salacis grumpily turns over to attempt sleep.

Sidious is no more inclined to answer questions on that the next day, of course, though their private training sessions together do give Salacis some time to harass her about it if she wants. 

Salacis does want to harass her about it! She seems rather stuck on the topic, in fact.

Unfortunately, Sidious has been artfully dodging questions longer than Salacis has been alive.

Booooo.

Kiss. "You'll need to work harder on subtlety to get your answers."

"Aww..."

"Isn't it excellent how many learning opportunities you're getting?"

Mumblegrumble.

"Another round, Apprentice. I want your form to be perfect before you leave..."

She makes sure Salacis is nice and worn out by the time she's loading her and Rodanthe on to their new ship.
