"I'm not invisible. People can see me do stuff. They just don't remember that I'm anybody specific. And I don't like, make the walls bleed," he says. "I could break into a house that didn't have this many people in it and move things around if I wanted to but you could also do that, if you wanted to."

"I mean, yeah, it's an unusual and minor haunting." And then she grins, and - a tendril of blue light reaches out and locks her door before disappearing. "I think I could haunt a house pretty well, if I wanted to."

"I don't think I'm like a ghost," says Skip.

...oh, whoops. "You're not! Sorry."

She squeezes him in a way you cannot squeeze a ghost.

Squeeze. "It's okay, just. I did not in fact die ten minutes ago and that was pretty neat how I didn't die."

"Yeah! I am very glad I heard the car noises and could figure out what happened from there. And, uh, had the ability to do something about it, you might have been okay if I'd called an ambulance and stayed with you but that could have been really scary and this was much simpler!"

"Really scary and also I have no insurance and my job is picking up heavy objects."

"Ah. Well. Blue girl healing is free! And very comprehensive."

He looks down at himself. "The clothes are probably a writeoff."

She frowns, concentrating -

Nah. (Not as easily as the healing, anyways. If she knew how to sew and had thread, the ring could do detail work for her, but she'd need the thread.)

- ah, huh. She takes a closer look, trying to figure out how bad the damage is.

Well there's a fair amount of blood. It's mostly on his front, so it's not getting on her bed. There's a big tear in the shirt and some pretty thorough distressing on the jeans that you could maybe pass off as fashionably intentional if only it weren't for the blood.

Okay, well. She can definitely remove the blood, that's simple and easy. It floats off into the trash. "I think I can fix the tears with a bit of thread? No rush though."

"I do like, own several pairs of jeans. Not too many but that's because I have to hide them, not because they don't pay me for picking up objects."

"...you have to..." she pauses, thinking about it. "Man. Do you want to have a place where you store stuff in here? I bet with a note to myself I could make that work, easy to test..."

"Yeah, there's a cupboard in the bathroom everyone hates, the one with the showerhead that yells and the toilet that wobbles when you sit on it? And I've got clothes in the cupboard in there."

Awwww. "Oh, clever. Well, if you want more storage somewhere else, we can set that up in here."

"I'm not used to having a lot of my own things, it's not like anyone notices if I wear the same three shirts all the time, but it's good to have the option in mind."

Xeya nods. She's not immediately sure what to say for now. She will be snuggly in silence, doing her best to keep him fixed in her mind.

Snuggling probably substitutes adequately for patter. He will let the silence sit for a while, trying to calm down his heart rate.

She notices the heartrate, in the silence. "Mind if I put on a bit of music? Just some quiet background."

"Go for it."

Xeya's ring can interface with her phone and now Aria Math is playing from her hoodie's pocket.

She sighs happily, humming gently against him.

"You can telepathically control your phone?"
