"Is she tied to the Guild?"

"Only insofar as it's impossible for a family to become wealthy without at least a little crime, and the Guild touches almost all crime in this city."

The Gray Fox gives Lilou the address of her date for the party.

"Thanks."

"I'm always happy to help someone like you, Lilou."

"You're definitely not going to poach me at this point, you know."

She gives a foxy wink. "I didn't get to where I am today by giving up prematurely."

She laughs. "Oh, you're welcome to keep trying."

"Excellent."

Smile. And then she has some questions on minor details...

Whatever information she needs.

"Is there anything else you need tonight?"

"No, thank you." 

"I'll take my leave, then. A pleasure doing business, Lilou Travere."

"The pleasure has been mine, Guildmaster."

And with that, the Gray Fox is off.

And Lilou and Bérengère have a party to prepare for.
