Lilou's also kept herself busy reorganizing and distributing supplies, and she'd gone ahead for the Priory's horses. 

The sun is looming on the horizon as they leave - and full day comes on quickly as they trace their path out back nearly exactly.

But as they near the Priory - 

There's a wisp of black smoke ahead.

Oh fuck.

They should hurry.

Azi takes the lead. 

It looks like they missed the fight - there's bodies strewn about, and the roof of one building is still smoldering. Most of the bodies are in red robes, masked - there's relatively few people from the Priory among the dead, though there've been losses, and it looks like the Priors are still gathering and tending to the injured. 

What can they do to help?

Once they've confirmed they're friendly - 

Helping with healing, or trying to track the assailants who fled. Grandmaster Jauffre is dead, and the Amulet is gone. 

"It seems things will not be so easy as you had hoped."

Elliane can start on triage and healing.

"They're never that easy..." She has no ability to follow the assailants - she starts helping, wherever she's directed. 

Azi has a few things she can try for tracking...

Berengere, too. If they escaped by mundane means, not magical.

Seems magical, more or less, though Bérengère can locate the place they left from, which makes Azi's job easier. 

It's a start.

Indeed. 

(Though they ultimately don't get a trace they can follow, not now.)

Unfortunate.

"We need to regroup. Find the other Blades."

Nod.

"The Imperial City is one obvious place - as are the Temples, though that's perhaps obvious enough it risks an ambush."

"Wherever we go... I should stay with Elliane as her guard, I think."

"You seem like you're best-suited, of the three of us."

She nods.

"I'd like to keep her moving, too - the Mythic Dawn seem able to strike anywhere, perhaps at any time, so we need to not be in one place long enough for them to catch up."

"That might make keeping communication up hard."

"A drawback, but likely not unsolvable."

She nods.

"We'll come up with something."

"And we can travel together as far as the Imperial City, perhaps..."

"We'll have the best chance at finding more of the Blades at Cloud Ruler Temple, not the city."

"True... Would the Mythic Dawn expect us there?"

"I hope not. The Temple is warded, at least. They won't be able to do the same thing they did in Kvatch or here."
