"Who could meet them?"

"None but the best."

"And what would you offer the best?"

"Rewards in proportion to her service, of course."

"A very good start." Teasing hum. "Though the best often want a more detailed idea of compensation up front..." Tiny smirk. "If you want recruitment advice, of course."

"I am not, at the moment, actively recruiting. Unless an unexpectedly attractive candidate promoted herself to my attention."

"Perhaps I'll find someone to direct your attention to."

She hums, thoughtfully.

She raises an eyebrow.

"I wonder how well your taste matches mine, Dar-Kha'azi."

"Depends on which directions you find salient."

"I suppose it would..."

"I have very flexible tastes, though."

Elliane lets her gaze obviously flit about the various bits of armor the khajiit is adorned with. "So I see."

She poses in a way that highlights both the distinctly dommy style of her pauldrons and choker, and the subtle subbiness of her tights and cuffs. (The rest of the pieces are either a bit hard to read or a similar mix.)

"Morrowind fashion is very delightful, isn't it?" she teases.

"Certainly nothing one sees very often in the heartland."

"I'm rather surprised, honestly - I'd heard a rumor the uniforms of the Emperor's own guards were created by a smith from Morrowind..."

"He keeps- kept those close."

Her expression goes solemn suddenly - and there's a quick flash of some deeper, more complicated emotion. "He kept a lot close."

"I never met the man, myself."

"You don't need to meet an emperor to get a measure of him."

Light shrug. "But speaking of the dead is hardly restful."

"Tell me a story, then," she invites.

Hum.

"So, three years ago, I chartered a ship in Firewatch, heading east to seek out the continent of Akavir..."

She describes coming across - and intervening in - a chaotic naval battle between two belligerents that at first glance she thought were Argonians and Khajiit - but who turned out to be rather stranger... She intervened, and was attacked by the not-Argonians, fighters with heavy plate armor as part of their body and blades embedded in their tails. She fought them off and retreated to port with the not-Khajiit, who had a body much like the Ohmes-raht but with fine scales like a fish where the Ohmes-raht have skin...

And, incidentally, the captain was a very beautiful and adventurous woman, clearly an essential part of this tale.

Clearly.

Though Elliane is just as interested in the descriptions of the unknown races.

Well, Azi's going to need payment before she gets into further stories...

(She definitely describes the body plan of one of the tiger folk at length, at least.)
