"What happened?" asks Eric, rushing over to where Zachary is.

"Tae-hwan fell into the ravine!"

Peter is visible from where Eric and Zachary are standing. He is on his broomstick worrying over Tae-hwan's lifeless, broken body, and looking around anxiously.

Eric is confused and very, very upset.

There is a sound like a funeral march, a cacophonous clang of organ keys and a cello, and the Grim Reaper appears in a puff of smoke nearby, though he is mostly obscured by trees from where Eric is standing.

He starts slowly gliding towards Tae-hwan's body.

"...Zach, do something!"

They can't reach him. Tae-hwan is dead down there, and Alexei is about to reap him, and they can't even beg for his life.
