As for right now, Eric is suffering from the problem he suffers from whenever he gets slightly drunk, i.e. he's horny. But he, uh, kind of... doesn't want to have sex with his fiancé... because he's having a ton of complicated feelings about the fact that he's engaged on a couple of weeks' acquaintance even though he feels like he knows Tae-hwan really well. And being slightly drunk means he's impaired at figuring out what he actually wants and how to get it.

...oh wait some of his complicated feelings are related to Tae-hwan having died, actually, now that he thinks about it, uh.

"Tae-hwan?"

Oh. Yeah. Definitely extremely complicated feelings right now. But... if he stops trying to overanalyse them...

He punches Tae-hwan's arm, hard. "Don't you ever do that again, you asshole. Don't you die on me again, don't do stupid shit like that again."

"...sorry. I'm a ghost now, though. I can't die."

"Well we're bringing you back to life, obviously."

"You are?"

"We are?"

"Yes. Tae-hwan may be an idiot but he's my idiot and I want him to be fully solid. Unless you really love being a ghost, I guess."

"Being a ghost is cool!"

"Okay but would you rather not be a ghost?"

"Oh." He thinks about it for a second. "Yeah, I think so."

"So. We're figuring out how to bring you back to life."

"Okay, awesome!"

Sigh.

"...hey, Peter, I have an idea. Why don't we do the, uh, the timeslide thing until I'm sober again?"

"Do the what thing?"

"You don't sound that drunk."

"I've had a lot of mimosas and I'm really very good at holding my alcohol but if I tried to walk right now I'd fail. And the timeslide thing, Zach, is this thing Peter taught me how to do where, well, he hasn't taught me how to do it yet but it's where I, uh, time passes faster? Words. It's complicated."

"Oh, like a spell?"

"...sure. Let's go with that."
