"Big things - I want to poke 'what's up with the Exaltations' more. Lady Luna's talking to the higher ranked gods, but - there might be some chatter among the lesser spirits or the other Sidereals, and someone else might've noticed something. Also - acquire more resources so we can keep investigating. Enough standing we can convince other Sidereals to let Luna squint at them, more sorcery information..."

"Other big thing - the Sidereals as a whole have definitely noticed that the Deliberative is fucked. I was hearing chatter about that even as a student, and Shochi definitely brought it up a few times. Sidereals aren't the sort to sit back and do nothing, usually - even observation is in preparation. Whatever they do, they're going to keep it to the shadows - and I want to learn the plans in motion before they get too much momentum to stop easily."

"And contingencies - I'm not sure we need them against our parents quite as much anymore, and - I think we're actually fairly decent on those." She rubs the back of her neck. "But - if this really is a Deliberative-wide issue, or an issue with every Exalt - we're going to need contingencies against everyone."

"...Yeah." She reaches over to pet Samira.

"I'd like to introduce you two around tonight and tomorrow, some, to people I already have an in with or who've requested it - I'm also supposed to do orientation for my new job in a few days, which I'd like you two to come along to."

"Heaven's already busy, huh?"

"Seems like it always is."

"I'm sure we'll adjust."

"I'll be right at home."
