They pretty much just have a bit of preparation left for joining the court... Reviewing courtesy and rituals, making sure their wardrobes fit, saying goodbye to their parents and getting any ongoing projects to where they can be paused or moved, packing...

The time flies by, though.

This is a big step. Moving away from home, away from their mothers. Samira's glad to be doing it with her sisters and not by herself.

Going off to school without her sisters - it hadn't been fun. There's a reason she came back, and a reason she doesn't regret leaving even if it might hit her socially now.

And then, it's time to go. Micqui will have to lead them on the path, but that is only right and proper.

She can even hold Samira's leash during the trip.

(They cause a minor stir when they do arrive around others - Micqui had arranged an apartment for them ahead of this, and sent a lot of their things - )

(And, well. While Samira isn't legally Micqui's slave, the collar and leash are a bit of a statement.)

Samira keeps her head high. She knows who she belongs to, and those are the only opinions that matter.

Micqui is very smug about this.

(Their apartment is tiny, though the area around it is as pretty as everything here. Still, it's going to be an adjustment from their previous life.)

Good thing they all like each other so much. Maybe they can just go for lots of walks. (And if those are walks Micqui gets to hold Samira's leash... so much the better.)
