Only the five or so Dragonblooded live-in retainers and a handful of the older mortals have actually interacted with her in person, but they have nothing but good things to say about her.

Which is good, at least.

(Gleam remembers how much people could adore and excuse even total monsters, of course, so long as those monsters wore a solar face, but... She likes Elathea, and she wouldn't be here in the first place if she didn't trust the woman, and Elathea's interactions with people nearer Gleam's realm haven't raised any red flags.)

(She feels comfortable here, she thinks, or could soon.)

"What's there to do for entertainment around here?" she teases Elathea after the initial tour.

"Well. There's my library, the art collection, walking the gardens. We could go hunting, or swimming, or sailing. I could make use of the kitchens or we could see what new cuisines are cooking in the city. The city can offer additional diversions as well, theater, poetry readings, sporting events, things of that nature, which we might observe or participate in."

"Theater and poetry sounds lovely, sometime," she says, giving Elathea a light kiss. "Though I'll probably be able to keep myself busy for quite a while with that library."

Kiss. "I am sure you will, dear."

Giggle kiss!

Gleam settles in fairly well - into the library, into Elathea's life and kingdom... Even into her social circles, for the most part, but... She doesn't seem to get on very well at all with other solars, and the lunars in the Blessed Isle are - something she has trouble explaining to Elathea, though it sounds like the main issue is more 'too far removed from the edges of Creation;' apparently Luna's influence wanes away from the borders of the world, and even the high society types out on those edges are - something more like Gleam. The Blessed Isle lunars seem to feel a mutual unease towards her, and they all stay out of each others' ways.

She gets along with many of the dragon-blooded and even most of the sidereals she meets, though, making neutral vaguely friendly acquaintances where she can't make friends, and she forges lightning-fast friendships with several mortals. (And sets out to make the rounds of assorted pretty people's beds, naturally.)

She comes back to Elathea's one morning, having wandered off overnight to properly start her dive into the nearest big city's nightlife, with a satisfied, smug grin only a cat could wear and a swagger to her step.

"Have fun last night, did we?"

"Quite a bit." She licks her lips.

Hum. "I see."

"At least one pretty girl is now very acquainted with Luna's myriad gifts," she teases. "Though perhaps I shouldn't kiss and tell..."

"A pretty girl besides myself, you mean? And you didn't feel like sharing?"

"Well, it's important to try out new flavors before recommending them, don't you think?"

"Do you have a recommendation, then? I have been thinking it might be nice to reopen the seraglio."

Giggle. "She's a university student - I bet she'd love a nice apartment and free tuition," Gleam teases. "And then I could have something lovely to glance at while in your library."

"Feel free to arrange a meeting, then."

"Sure thing."

Kiss!

"Should I be recruiting more in general?"

"If you feel up to the challenge. I am a touch too busy to do it myself; you've been keeping my free time well occupied."

Kiss. "It's only fair I save you time in other places, then."

"Quite."

"Of course, I'll need a sense of what positions are on offer... What the additional benefits are..."

"Perhaps a practical demonstration is in order?"

Giggle. "Perhaps!"

Elathea can show her around that wing, share a few stories from times gone past... demonstrate some of the furniture.

It's a very lovely place, and very comfortable furniture.

Gleam's curious about the kinds of people Elathea like, naturally, delighting in the stories, in seeing more of Elathea's life.

She asks questions, naturally. What the story behind this or that artwork is, who made it, what it's about, why Elathea picked it... Where's this style of pottery from... How long girls are usually in her harem, if Elathea kept track of any after they left, what sorts of things have they done or been interested in... And, teasingly, she plays at needing to be seduced into Elathea's harem - asks about daily life, directly or indirectly. Coming to and from, having an outside life, what she would get beyond pretty walls and a passionate time...

(Gleam - probably even successfully hides it, since she's developed a good poker face over the centuries, but these are the same questions that keep her up at night, sometimes, when she's with Elathea.)

They get access to Elathea, her thoughts, resources, advice, help with projects, training in various skills, influence on pet projects in the world outside... Creation is vast and there are many things Elathea could be doing beyond her own personal interests. Using what makes a pretty girl happy is as good a first-pass criterion as any. And if a girl decides she'd rather leave, Elathea will see her off with wealth, trinkets, and a free pass to the front of her line of petitioners. Alumni have gone into the arts, militaries, governments, started businesses or schools of their own... These she keeps an eye on. Their reputations reflect upon her own, and she would not see them tarnish it needlessly.
