"R-run away or die," says Ijichi, looking down at Gojō's shoes—he can't quite meet the man's blindfolded eyes, yet, not so soon, not at the morgue with the body of his student right there. "I warned them that fighting was absolutely not an option."
Inori opens his eyes, blinks a few times, panics for a second at the unfamiliar feeling, then blushes when he remembers what it is.
"Good morning, Akiho."
"G'morning." There's the sound of a smile in her words, and she nuzzles him. "You're very cozy."
"Thought I'd be kind of too bony for that." He readjusts himself to wrap an arm around her and snuggle more comfortably.
"Mm mmn. I mean, yes, a bit, but. Worth being a little sore." She pauses, then starts snickering at the innuendo there.
His fading blush returns in full force but he laughs, too. "You're terrible. Wonderful, but terrible."
"I'm sorry, I swear I didn't even mean to! It just. It just sounds that way after!" Giggle, lean. "You're wonderful too. This was very nice, even though..." Oh, and now she's blushing. "... probably we're going to get teased relentlessly even if we didn't. Uh. Do the traditional activity couples do when they spend the night together."
"Mhmmm. Even if on principle it's not, she'd make it terrible, and you know it." But she also doesn't get up. This is probably the exact level of coziness that led to her sleeping on him in here, actually.
"... I like your earrings," she says affectionately, apropos of nothing at all besides them being visually close, due to the snuggling.
She beams at him, and then: yeah, okay, time to get up. Or Maki will find them. She's a little stiff, but it's fine.
Akiho gives him a quick peck, then says, "See you at training."
Then it's off to go change into clothes she didn't wear yesterday, and get breakfast and do her usual morning routine and whatnot.
"Hey," says Maki, when they're both there. Her smirk says quite a lot. "Get enough sleep last night?"
"More than I usually do," he shrugs. It's true; it was very cosy and he fell asleep earlier.
"I'm sure I don't know what you mean. It almost sounds like you're speculating about your classmates' private lives, but that's something Mai does, not you, right, Zen'in-senpai?" he snarks at her. Seems like some distance from the event and not being literally caught in the act helps. Also probably it being Maki.
Maki laughs.
"Well she is my sister. The resemblance is more than just in our looks, you know? As long as it doesn't get in the way of anything, I don't actually care. I just wanted the chance to needle you!"
"So this really shouldn't come as a surprise!" She pats Akiho on the back with a force that almost makes the girl trip. "Keep having this kind of reaction to teasing and I'm including this as part of training. But today I will be merciful. Maybe." She winks. "Or maybe I'm waiting until you're not expecting me. On to business!"
Training does, eventually, conclude.
"So, I don't know about you, but I have some errands to run," announces Akiho, matter-of-factly.
"Oh? ...do you want company? I was thinking, Sensei never did take you on that tour of Tokyo, so maybe," blush blush blush, "maybe I could."
