...............................................................okay he's maybe too embarrassed for typing in front of her.

He'll type something sort of hidden away from her and then give her the phone back while not looking at her.

Once she figures out he doesn’t want her to, she gives him space to write in peace. Before she figures it out, though, yeah she was totally going to do that, oops.

What does the phone say?

you're very pretty

“Oh my goodness,” she says, and then she leans up and kisses him on the lips, because that was adorable and they just did the kissing thing so it’s fine to just kiss him now, right? Right.

...right. Yes. Okay. Kissing is good. Kissing is very good.

Kiiiiiss wait no she interrupted his attempts to communicate, bad girlfriend! He needs communication assistance not kissing!

“I’m sorry,” she giggles, “I think I got in the way of you trying to talk. Thank you, you’re very pretty, too.”

He makes a small whiny sound at the back of his throat when she pulls away and doesn't immediately know what to... do... next.

She squints at him. Then she leans in and breathes, “… or would you rather we continue what we were doing?”

“Well okay then!” she agrees, and she drops her phone out of the way and wraps her arms around him and it can just be kissing time, then! No words, just kissing.

No words! Kissing!

..........does it have to be just kissing though nnnngghghhhhhhhhh he's taking this too fast and he should not. Kissing is fine. It is good. They only just kissed today he should not rush and he should enjoy this even though actually everyone else already thinks that they're—they're—!!!!!

Well 'just kissing' does eventually involve Akiho being fully draped over him, again, with absolutely no regard for propriety or where they're at, again. So.

Oh okay yes that. That is nice. That works.

Akiho seems perfectly happy to just leave it at this, no push for anything further besides staying nestled in his arms to kiss him, and loses track of all sense of time.

Okay you know what Inori you need to stop being such a stereotype. Right? Right.

Kissing is great. And he wants—more—but it's fine to not have it. No, scratch that, it should not be an impulsive decision, actually. He keeps trying to rationalise pushing for it but no, that would make her uncomfortable and it would also make him uncomfortable and he'd only be doing it because it's suddenly an available option, in some way, and he's never felt this attracted to anyone else before.

He bets Itadori used to feel this way about lots of people all the time and he managed.

That hurts to think about, but it's a dull ache, and it does lead to the embarrassing realisation that probably most boys Inori's age have had to deal with sudden urgent horny a long time ago. He... never did. He's never had to. And now there's both a point of it probably not being anywhere near as urgent or important as it feels and also a point of pride—he is not letting regular normie boys win this one.

Okay? Okay.

With that clicking in his head, he dispels the last of the discomfort and settles a bit back into his skin, and into Akiho, who has been nothing but patient and delightful and wonderful.

This is more than fine. This is good. This is great. He can spend a long time like this, with his favourite person in the world, nothing special to it except for everything. It's more than good enough. It's perfect.

The kissing ebbs and flows organically, the whole thing a more a delight of intimacy and closeness more than of raging sexual desire. Eventually, drowsiness begins to color the whole thing, and Akiho does not actually want to disentangle herself from her excellent boyfriend to go sleep in her own bed. Probably she should, or something, but she's so cozy, and it's so nice to be here, nestled in his arms. It is even nicer to fall asleep there.

Predictably, they're woken by both of their phones going off, chiming their now familiar wakeup call at 6:00 AM. Apparently, in this sense, they have matching morning schedules.

"Nnnnmhmmmn," mumbles Akiho, hiding from the morning in Inori's shoulder, after she's turned hers off.

Inori opens his eyes, blinks a few times, panics for a second at the unfamiliar feeling, then blushes when he remembers what it is.

"Good morning, Akiho."

"G'morning." There's the sound of a smile in her words, and she nuzzles him. "You're very cozy."

"Thought I'd be kind of too bony for that." He readjusts himself to wrap an arm around her and snuggle more comfortably.

"Mm mmn. I mean, yes, a bit, but. Worth being a little sore." She pauses, then starts snickering at the innuendo there.

His fading blush returns in full force but he laughs, too. "You're terrible. Wonderful, but terrible."

"I'm sorry, I swear I didn't even mean to! It just. It just sounds that way after!" Giggle, lean. "You're wonderful too. This was very nice, even though..." Oh, and now she's blushing. "... probably we're going to get teased relentlessly even if we didn't. Uh. Do the traditional activity couples do when they spend the night together."

Blush blush blush "Yes, well. We'd have to face it anyway."

"Yeah." She leans up and gives him a gentle peck. "Worth it."
