"I will probably not duplicate every event for both sides but a pool party seems pretty basic."

"Well, the book ward'll last a while."

"Good. Is there anything else people can't get in here that seems more or less intractable, off the top of your head--I notice there's something sunlightish, in here specifically--"

"Yeah, that's the same as we have in enclaves so we don't have... some kind of vitamin problem. I don't think there's a wizard way to do better and don't think any of your powers make sunshine?"

"Not yet! But I don't expect a solution I come up with in five years to matter now, no."

"Yeah. Do you have room for a big pool or is it going to be kind of crowded?"

"I was thinking of doing something torus-shaped...but it's probably going to be pretty crowded. Maybe I need to divide it into slots like the study group."

Nod nod.

Kareen dispenses all the lunches and assorted additional gifts and heads back to the library to meet more study groups. 

The alchemists-who-speak-Spanish study group is downright chipper, and only partly because somebody brought a recreational potion to duplicate and share.

Nice. What kind of recreational?

"Mostly it's just anti-anxiety but it would be sorta dumb to take when you weren't right then about to go to sleep, in the school proper."

"Ah. ...How long does it last?"

"I calibrated it for half an hour but the magical effect wearing off doesn't put you back to baseline immediately."

Nod nod. "Weird question, how well would they mix in with drinks?"

"Anything acidic should be fine, but nothing with a higher pH than water."

"So orange juice is fine, lemonade is presumably fine...I don't know of any caustic drinks off the top of my head but it's not the kind of thing I'd had to track, historically."
