Yanor hangs back and blesses the party.

The construct swings twice at Julen with its fists of gold. It fails to aim with impaired vision. Miss.

Well at least nobody is doing anything useful, it's not just her allies.

Is this worth another second circle slot? She has no idea how dangerous it is, but she probably has at least one more second today than she did yesterday. Should be worth it then. Does a second Burst have at least some effect? If not, this thing might be immune to magic like golems are.

This time the burst of radiance is effective.

Julen makes four attacks with his twin shortswords. He's much faster than he was yesterday. The others got more spells, makes sense. Only one of his strikes lands. It cracks the construct's gold plating.

Tomas runs around the blinded construct and pierces its back with his rapier.

Yanor runs forward and strikes the construct with his walking stick. It bounces off the gold surface of the construct to no effect.

The construct retaliates with two burning fists. One slams into Julen. His skin sizzles.

Well, her new first circle spell was definitely meant to be used on enemies, and it probably does something useful. And testing it in combat is more useful than wasting it entirely and probably more useful than an Acid Splash. She will try it out.

Weird shadow spell? (Ooh, her shadow-pulling trick fits in without needing an extra circle! Makes sense. It doesn't actually do anything in this lighting, but she'll stitch it into the spell work just to see it go.)

The weird shadow spell has no effect on the construct.

The construct is well-armored. He studies it for a moment and then swings once. His strike cracks a plate on its chest.

Tomas flanks the construct and pierces through its armor. More cracks spread across it.

Yanor tries another strike with his walking stick. It has no effect.

The construct sends another two burning strikes at Julen. He dodges both easily.

Can she hit it with an Acid Splash? That's supposed to work well against spell resistant creatures, right? Apparently she cannot. Oh well. She will stay over here as far away as possible and do very little.

Julen's arms blur as he sends four more strikes at the construct. Three of them shatter metallic plating and limbs.

Tomas thrusts forward with his rapier. He gouges metal off the construct's back.

Yanor gets the sense that a wooden walking stick is useless against this foe. He doesn't have better options. The stick bounces off harmlessly once more.

The construct sends two more slams at Julen. Its aim while blinded is terrible. Miss.

Acid Splash again. The blind seems to be wearing off, but this thing is not doing well, so if she can just land this—

She can. It clings, sizzles...

The construct superheats in an explosion of molten gold. Tencednil is far away. The others are not. They're covered in liquid metal.

Yanor screams and stumbles backward.

Oh dear. Staying back was a good decision, then.

...this seems like the sort of place that could have that trigger a secondary trap. Detect Magic. Is there anything else looking particularly ominous? She can get out the wand after Yanor distributes his healing.

Her spell detects nothing more unusual than the magic that flows through every room of this place.

Good, safe from that.

...and now, the thing's remains. Does it look like... nonmagical gold. As in actual, boring, highly expensive metal.
