There are multiple exits in this room. The first leads to a sleeping quarters. The second leads to a nursery with children. The third leads deeper into the caves.

...alright, after seeing the children she's happy they have a plan to not kill everyone. She would have if it was necessary, but it's a good reminder that not everything here is actually a threat to them. (Even if the babies do also stink.)

They're not here to ambush the sleeping or murder children. Through the third exit.

An overwhelming reptilian stench mixes with the foul putrescence of rotting flesh in this cave. Between two rocky outcroppings, both smeared with blood, are the remains of a foul ritual—heaps of decaying limbs, bones, and viscera. A symbol depicting a spiraling clawed tentacle has been crudely carved into the rock on the right.

The chieftain sits on a throne of skulls and bone.

Two troglodytes stand guard next to him.

The troglodyte from earlier with the magic weapon is next to the ritual circle.

An enormous crocodile lounges beside him.

The chieftain stands from his throne and roars in passable Taldane. "You have invaded our home! I shall give you death personally!"

"The rock! And that thing! That's the symbol of Zevgavizeb, a demon lord!"

"He's not wrong. The one with the mace has a holy symbol, the other just looks big. Zevgavizeb, if that means anything to you. Healer first if you get the choice, but we won't." Message makes communications so much easier.

The crocodile roars and charges at Julen. It sprints with great speed but not great aim. Miss.

The cleric and the axe-bearer are within twenty feet of each other, and these creatures have not impressed her with their dexterity.

Burst of Radiance. And then she will make sure to keep the more martially competent of the party solidly between her and the enemies, but still edge over so anyone who knew where she was but can't see will no longer know where she is.

The chieftain is slightly singed. That looks like it tickled. The blindness is more of a problem.

The cleric is quite a bit more injured but he isn't blind.

The chieftain's guards burn and collapse immediately.

Julen studies the crocodile and the cleric. Then he carves into the beast. It's brutally wounded with a single swing.

Tomas lunges forward with magically enhanced reach and skewers the crocodile on his rapier. It goes still.

Uggilo shouts something in Draconic to the Chieftain.

The chieftain pulls two javelins off his back and hurls them at Tencednil. Even blinded, one of them pierces into her side.

Ow!

...not as ow as she expected, though. And the other one grazed off her skin somehow? Right, she has been a little harder to injure since Lhín appeared. It seems to have helped. That could have been much worse, even if blinding him really should have been more effective than that. Oh well, skilled weapon-users are like that.

Yanor sends a baleful glare at the cleric. It doesn't seem to do anything.

Uggilo sends a spiritual weapon flying at Tencednil. It misses.

She has more Bursts of Radiance for the day. How about another one for the cleric, and if it singes the axe-user as well that's all the better. And maybe this time she can actually move so they lose track of her?

The cleric isn't looking good! He's now also blinded.
