Lhín flits forward, doing her best to look like an imposing figure in the mists, her senses reaching out to touch the wreck...

Ghost Sound.

And about twenty feet ahead of them, right around the shadow Lhín casts, there comes the tromp of boots, the clank of plate mail on a moving person, and the indistinguishable but unmistakeable sounds of an ongoing conversation. In other words, the sound of a group of foolish adventurers, anticipating risk only passively, and very much alive.

Two skeletons emerge from the fog, clambering out of the water and onto the beach.

Two is probably not all of them. She will hold off until more of them come out of the sea, and hopefully cluster up.

Julen leaps forward with one hammer in each hand and crushes a skeleton's skull. It collapses.

Three more skeletons emerge from the depths onto the beach.

"I'll cast in a moment! Let them come!" Announcing her plans like this is a bit dangerous, but skeletons are generally mindless. They shouldn't think too carefully about the implications of her words.

A special skeleton emerges soon after the others. He's wielding a barnacle-encrusted rapier and a heavy shield and is clad in metal armor.

Yanor lunges for the skeletal captain and slams his hand into its armored chest. Positive energy burns through its armor and it staggers back.

Tomas slices forward at the skeletal captain with his rapier and misses.

Two more skeletons emerge from the depths onto the beach.

And, everyone in or not, it's time for a Burst of Radiance. Preferably hitting as few non-skeletons as possible, but hitting every skeleton she can get is a higher priority. Especially the big one.

(Humans. Was "I'll to cast in a moment" that hard to understand? Oh well, hopefully they will be unharmed, whether by not being evil or by whatever other criterion her Burst is using.)

All of the skeletons turn to ash. Their weapons and armor clatter on the ground.

The captain is also destroyed. His gear rolls across the beach.

Yanor stumbles. "Ah, fuck, I can't see!"

"Sorry! The skeletons are finished, but you were in the spell's area. Your eyes should clear within half a minute."

"That spell was very effective. I think this is the only time I've ever hoped to face more undead."

Tomas is looking over the abandoned gear. "One of them had a magic rapier!"

"That spell was the reason I wished them clustered up in a tight area, it is remarkably effective against the lesser skeletons. And apparently whatever the larger one was, at least in conjunction with Yanor's touch. Are we all unharmed beyond some momentary blindness? I saw no blows landed, but perhaps I missed something."

Yanor is sitting down on the beach and blinking rapidly. "I'm not hurt. Not beyond my vision."

"I'm going to use the rapier. I don't own a magic one. We can properly divide and sell the treasure once we're back at Magnimar."

Julen nods. "Sensible."

"No objections from me. It will certainly be of more use to you than to the rest of us."

Yanor's vision returns very quickly. "That's better. We will have to swim out to collect the seaweed."

Tomas groans. "Can I sit this out? You know I'm a terrible swimmer."
