Hailey has had a shitty day. She's spent the whole day fixing cars for bleeding morons who demand the impossible, and she still hasn't been approved for hormones. She hasn't bothered coming out at work, because the boss and half the staff are transphobes, and so she spent the whole day getting misgendered, too.

She fucking hates this shite.

Arriving home to her flat in Bexley, she drops her kit on a shelf by the door, then strips down for a shower, throwing on a black cami and shorts when she's out.

Then she opens a window and drops into a chair, staring out at the city.

At least she hasn't seen or heard from her aunt and uncle in over a decade.
