"Arcana books don't digitize well..." she says, a bit teasingly. "The cabinets mostly have digital servers in pocket dimensions, but one also has some grouchier books it'd be inadvisable to store with the others."

"Is that one... marked?"

"The plaques on the doors describe their content," she says, gesturing to a nearby one (which is marked as containing some of the promised electronic data). "The dangerous one is that one over there, the doors have a different design, too..." She points across the room.

"Fair enough, then. I suppose I will be spending quite a bit of time here."

Kiss! "You'll have eternity for it, after all."

"That I will."

She makes a happy noise.

"This seems like a big present..."

"I already owned most of these books, and I enjoy being extravagant..." she says, shrugging a bit. "But..." She rubs the back of her head, a bit sheepish. "I - really like you. And... If I can love anyone, I think I love you."

It's said quietly, earnestly, and -

She's kind of having the revelation as she says it.

It feels - freeing.

Eliese sweeps her up in a giant hug.

Hugs, and kisses, because - she loves her girlfriend, or if she doesn't liking her feels so nice it's the same in everything but the tiny details -

(She's going to get distracted from her last present, probably, but Eliese's so good and Acererak wants to keep her to herself for a few moments longer.)

Eliese is happy to be a distraction.

Still, eventually... "I did have one more gift for you."

"Oh?" Eliese is intrigued.

"Just this way, darling..." she says, leading Eliese back out into the hallway - and to a room nearby the library, with a good view of the garden.

It appears to be a bedroom, richly and tastefully appointed, well lit, a four poster bed in the center, cabinets along the walls, an en suite bathroom...

And a woman with Acererak's face spread out on the blood red sheets, naked and deeply asleep, golden chains attached to each limb, securing her to the bed with just enough give she'd be able to struggle, her hair loose in a halo around her head.

Eliese gives a startled burst of laughter, grabbing on to Acererak.

"You didn't."

Giggle. "Only the best for my darling."

Firm kiss.
