There is the distinct sound of a record screeching to a halt in Acererak's brain.

She nuzzles her girlfriend's neck to hide her surprised expression, but - is maybe a bit slow at that.

"Too soon?"

"...Dunno."

"I've never - loved anyone."

"Ah. Well."

"You're beautiful and intelligent and you make me very happy. I want to stay by your side for as long as you'll have me but- I don't want to pressure you into reciprocating if you're not ready to."

She smiles a little. "You're very, very good."

Soft kiss. "I don't know yet if I love you - I like spending time with you, you make me happy, you're excellent - but..." Shrug. "I've never thought of myself as built in a loving sort of way."

She hugs Acererak and kisses the top of her head.

"You don't need to change for me."

Nuzzle. "That's why you're so wonderful."

And - kind of makes Acererak want to change. Which is a very, very weird feeling...

Mmm.

"It should be dawn soon..."

"We can have a bit more fun with that girl, then head back to the ship, maybe? - And I can modify her memory if you'd rather not risk anyone connecting you to her."

"I'm not worried. Even if she remembers something useful past the terror, there's nothing anyone can do."

"Alright." Kiss. "Let's give her a proper send off, then."

"All right." Out of the tub and drying off with the exquisitely soft and fluffy towels.

Those successfully distract Acererak for a bit. (Perhaps predictably so; her bed on the ship is by now an unholy collection of pillows and soft blankets). Kissing Eliese also distracts her some.

And then off, to have cake and torture for breakfast.

Truly the fodder of champions.

Important parts of a balanced diet.

Nothing but the best for her girlfriend.

(The girl would please very much please like to go home now please.)

She heals the girl once they're done - and even very graciously offers to teleport her back to her house. (She has been very good, after all, and Acererak's feeling extremely glowy and happy and generous right now.)

Will... they untie her too?

Sure, why not.

Then she will accept.

She drops the girl off - unties her with magic - and then teleports back into Eliese's arms.

"That was such a good birthday."

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was nothing very elaborate..."

Kiss! "It was thoughtful, and fun, and together with you - I think I like private things, for birthdays. Elaborate social events can happen later."

She idly (magically) starts packing up the remaining cake and misc food to bring back to the ship. (Fortunately she can preserve things magically as well.)

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind."
