This will likely cast a shadow over the next day or so of their journey. 

Well, they have magic statues to set the Pearls into.

It is pretty glum though.

"There's a story on my world that's sort of like that."

"If you want to tell it, I'll listen. But mostly I'm just sad and mad at Ganon and Din and Naryu and Farore."

"Are those other three baddies?"

"They're the biggest goddesses. The ones who would have been in charge of all the others."

"Most humans back home believed that there was one big God, and that he flood the world because people were being bad, except for one guy's family and two of every animal."

"That does sound a lot like lots of stories about old Hyrule, except for the only-one-god thing."

"It never made much sense to me. If there was two of every animal, there'd have to be a boy and a girl vampire. And they'd need to eat something..."

"Well, it's a story. Just like old Hyrule stories are half made-up. Red Lions has been telling me the real ones sometimes."

"Any nice ones?"

"There was one about the Princess Talita and her future husband..."

She tells it the way Red Lions did. It's a comedy of errors and mistakes, emphasis on comedy. Not the dramatic gods-and-heroes sort of thing they're used to from ancient stories at all.

Zeke likes it. "Want to here some stories from my world?"

"Sure. Not much else to do while we sail, right?

And so he tells of her of how the Great Skywalker blew up the Evil Moon!

'Targeting computer' and 'torpedoes' are weird, for magic.

"I like it because he turns out to have a twin."

"That's neat. I wish I had a brother sometimes."

"It's better than being alone, I suppose. But you have friends and stuff."

"Yeah, but friends are mean or fight sometimes. I'm surprised we didn't yet. Brother and sister fight sometimes too but always make up because they're family, right?"

"Yeah. Vampire fights can get a little...messy, though."

"Violent?"

"Yeah. Cause we heal."

"Makes sense."

"As for us, I guess you're too nice, and we've been too busy."
