So they logistics their way back to the couch and if nothing else comes up Haru will read Les Mis all evening.

One of the pieces of music is kind of scary and Julien wants to skip it, but other than that no.

It is easily skipped, a poke of the phone and it's gone.

"Can we leave the music on overnight?  I - still might not be able to sleep, with it, but..."

"Uh, yeah, we can have it on quietly. Also fair warning that I talk in my sleep. I can also fall asleep on some backlash as long as you'll talk to me while I'm getting there, if that might help."

"Oh, maybe.  And, uh, if you have something I could use as a blindfold, then I could take off the sunglasses.  Which might be more - oh, sleep masks, I mean; I forgot the word - more comfortable."

"I don't think we have sleep masks per se, I can see about express ordering something or you could just improvise with - I don't know, a scarf?" He sets about seeing whether he can get a sleep mask to appear at the house in the next couple hours.

"A scarf would be fine."

"When you're ready I'll get up and get a scarf."

"Whenever you want to go to bed?"

"I mean in terms of getting up off the couch without startling you. Then we will have the scarf on hand for then."

"Sure."  Julien sits up and makes sure none of him is touching Haru.

Haru goes to the closet and gets a nice navy blue scarf and returns to the couch. "Anything else need covering? - is there anybody you should be, like, telling, that you are awakening, family or anything."

Ohhh no.  "....Do you think I can wait till morning to consider that?"

"Probably, yeah." He makes a note to remind himself to ask about that in the morning.

"Then I think just my eyes.  Are the thing to cover."

"Okay. I'll probably wanna mosey to bed in like, half an hour or so."

"Seems fine to me."

And in half an hour or so they can begin the process of migrating upstairs and performing evening ablutions and getting into the guest bed (with Haru's pillow kidnapped from his own room).

Yeah.  Julien climbs into bed and - takes off his shirt, carefully, and sunglasses, and blindfolds himself.

Haru is in bed first and Holding Very Still to be snuggled up to. His phone's plugged in on the nightstand and murmuring along with the instrumental music playlist. "You want me to be invisible or inaudible or anything so I'll have a little bit of backlash to help you sleep?"

Snuggle snuggle.  "...If you're inaudible that seems like it would make it hard to have a conversation?  But I already can't see you."

"Which actually means invisibility won't cost any backlash, now that I think about it, I'm sleepy. I could hover for a little bit but that constitutes moving, I could be un-feelable."

"...I want to try the unfeelableness.  Briefly.  If you'd count down into it and also out of it."

"Sure. On zero. Three, two, one, zero." And then it doesn't feel like anyone's in bed with him. No warmth no skin the sheet's just draped like that for some reason of its own. The guiding sensation remains - gets nicer, actually, a little - and then: "Three two one zero." And he's back.
