"So noted." The group starts walking back.

She comes with them, of course.

"If you find yourself in need of a similar favor, too, I suspect you know how to find me," she says to Karrde.

"I'm sure I do."

As they get back to their ship, he says, "Oh, and one last thing. The Imperials are looking for spare capital ships. I'm sure the Republic will be interested to know."

"I'm sure."

"Consider it a bit of an apology for our interrupted discussion."

She nods. "Thank you."

"Safe travels."

"Good luck with your endeavors."

And then they're off.

"That went well enough."

"Indeed. For all the... complications."

"Thrawn's appearance was - unpleasant, but I think we got more information out of it than risk. Karrde turned out to be helpful, as well - and I like knowing where Mara Jade ended up."

"One less thread dangling around loose."

"She was one of Sidious's assassins. Trained in the Force, though never enough to be a serious threat. Pretty sure she was scheming to replace me. I don't think she's actively a threat, but - she's certainly a loose thread."

"Perhaps one you can now tie off more neatly, should you ever encounter her offworld."

She hums. "For now I think I'll let her find her own way. See who she feels like being."

"Fair enough. She doesn't seem positioned to cause too much harm."

"And I can always change my mind if that changes."

"Indeed."

"Good to keep my options open."

"Back to Coruscant, then?"

"I think so. It will likely take you some time to unpack even what is contained within the holocron."

"Alright. Though if you want my company on another outing, I imagine I can take a break."
