"I suppose I'll have to reserve my best for a select few, then."

She grins, ducking her head a bit, and checks the amount of time they have until arrival. Hm...

Well, discussing the Force never seems to go wrong with Occlus... Ani's somewhat curious if she ever ran into accounts of battle meditation...

There were usually one or two with the talent on either side. They tended to be high priority targets for assassination or subversion.

She's not surprised. It's a rarer talent, now, and poorly documented.

What makes her ask?

"It's - something I used to be able to do. Had to figure everything out pretty much from scratch, though."

"Impressive."

She snorts, humorlessly. "I couldn't, as Vader, and I haven't tried - since - but it made me an effective weapon in the Clone Wars."

"I would imagine so. Especially if the other side did not have anyone who could match you."

"They tried, but - "

"The whole war was Sidious's shell game in the first place. He adapted the challenges easily enough."

"Devious."

"Obnoxious, too. It was - hard to get ahead of him."

"If he was designing the course..."

"And had been since before we noticed there was anything to design. Since before I was even born..."

Shrug. "I surprised him in the end."

"Which, as they say, justifies the means."

Small smile. "It was a very satisfying end."

"Good."
