"I was using it as shorthand for 'Anthony is popular and athletic and universally agreed to be attractive' because apparently I'm still kind of bad at compensating for culture gaps." 

Lee considers this.

"...I guess athletes do usually have abs."

"Usually, yeah." Pet pet. 

Lee has never snuggled a girl before and is observing things he hadn't expected about the experience, like that Raine smells really good and that he can hear her heartbeat and that legs are involved. It is really not at all like snuggling a pillow and pretending it is your wife.

So good. So soft and warm and good. Raine is going to kiss him. 

Gosh. Kisses are nice. He kisses Raine's nose and her cheeks and her eyes and her neck and runs his hands through her hair. Lee feels completely justified in his conclusion that he will be happy once he is married.

She makes a tiny happy whimpery sound about the hands in her hair and kisses him more enthusiastically. 

Oh! Okay then! He keeps touching her hair and explores the mysteries of French kissing.

He always thought French kissing sounded kind of gross but it is much less gross in practice than it is in principle.

Mmmmmm. Lee should pull her hair. 

Unfortunately, he has no idea that this is a thing a person could want, so unless she expresses this opinion in words there's just going to be French kissing alternating with forehead kisses.

She's not great at words at the moment but she will put her hand on top of his hand and pull her hair with it to see if he gets the point. 

He freezes up and says "that hurts you."

"It's good. If I didn't know I'd like it I wouldn't ask." 

"I don't want to hurt you."

Pet pet. "You don't have to." 

More kissing? And also guilt about not pulling Raine's hair?

More kissing, and after a few minutes she digs her fingernails into her own arm and gasps about it and then goes right back to kissing Lee. 

........wow that's a very interesting noise.

He tries tugging her hair.

"-- ah," very softly. 

That's an extremely interesting thing and he is going to keep doing it.

The soft noises increase in volume and, if he pulls harder, turn into desperate whining. 

That is fascinating. It is the most fascinating thing. Raine makes faces and sounds and he wants to make her make more faces and more sounds and also for some reason he is having this strong urge to rub his genitalia on the bedspread. 

.......wait what is happening down there

"Um," he says. "Raine? Something strange is happening?"

"--yeah?" 

Is he going to have to make words about it.

"Um," he says, and gestures vaguely downward. Then he gets a good look at Raine's lower half and says, "you have it too, I think?"
