[The Trees are just - sourceless light, arbitrary amounts of it. I can't duplicate that wholesale but I can collect it to the point where I have artifacts that are themselves arbitrary amounts of sourceless light. The hard part is making them containable and responsive to human-and-Elf-range lighting needs - well, the 'collecting magic in such a way that I have infinitely much of it' is hard too, but I see exactly how to do it - but eventually, they'll light the space they're put in to the aesthetic sensibilities of the pickiest Elf around and if we set them in Endorë they can cope with a kingdom with expanding or changing borders, just fine.]

[Without getting inconveniently bright close to the source as they have to light more and more distant areas? - If they're stationary doesn't that have any effect on plant growth, come to think of it, I haven't noticed Valinor having this problem but Valinor is very managed.]
